hier die ersten Informationen zum dt. Finale in Nürnberg, damit die wichtigsten Fragen schon mal geklärt sind.
Die Anmeldung zum Finale startet in der 1. Oktober-Woche. Wie bereits im letzten Jahr per E-mail oder Telefon. Weitere Infos dazu folgen aber noch.

Einfahrt ins Gelände über die augeschilderte Einfahrt West. Die Einfahrt in unsere Halle 3 erfolgt über Tor 1b (>> Siehe Plan)
Bitte parken Sie das Fahrzeug hinter der Halle und begeben Sie sich zum EMMA Back Office in Halle 3 hinter der Bühne, um sich zu registrieren. Den Registrierungssticker gut sichtbar auf das Armaturenbrett legen und bei Einfahrt den Anweisungen des Platzeinweisers folgen.

Das deutsche sowie auch das europäische EMMA Finale werden im Bereich Sound Quality im Single Seat Modus ausgetragen. Das bedeutet dass zwei Juroren separat von der Fahrerseite den Sound bewerten. Rauchen ist in der Halle verboten. Wir bitten darauf zu achten dass Kabeltrommeln vollständig ausgerollt sind, da sonst ein Kurzschluss durch Überhitzung erfolgen kann. Die Halle kann am Abend nach 18°° mit dem Fahrzeug verlassen werden. Die Siegerehrung findet am Freitagnachmittag um 16°° auf der Hauptbühne in Halle 3 statt. Alle Teilnehmer die sich für das Europafinale qualifizieren möchten müssen sich bitte sofort im Anschluss an die Siegerehrung erneut im Back Office registrieren. Alle die nicht Qualifiziert sind müssen die Halle bis spät 18°° verlassen. Die Messe Nürnberg verfügt über eine optimale Anbindung in das Zentrum über die U-Bahn.

EMMA European Championships 2011 Nuremberg/ Germany
Date: Saturday October 29 to Tuesday November 1

General Procedures and Timetable:
The arrival and registration of the participants begins Friday, October 28 at 18°° and ends before 19°° at the Nuremberg Expo Gate 1a >> see plan . To register please drive into the area. Park your car behind the Hall and go to the EMMA office Desk in Hall 3 to register. Please take care that your registration sticker will be placed in the front window. Drive the car to the estimated position in the Hall. An EMMA official will guide you. The registration fee for all categories will be 60.- Euro. This includes one Ticket for the Monday Night Party. Additional starts will cost an extra fee of 15.- Euro per class.
The same procedure will be on Saturday morning from 8°° to 9°°. At 10°° o´ clock the judging procedure will start and it will end 19°° in the evening. All SQ, EMMA Racing and MM categories will be started according to the plan hanging out at the back office. In those categories with more than 15 cars the SQ judgement will be splitted into two days (Sat/Sun) On Monday a final round will decide the best out of the best six from the first round. All cars will be judged with the single seat judging system. Two separate judges will verify the Sound Quality only from the driver seat. ESPL judging will also start on Saturday with the Installation part.
On Sunday the judging will start at 9°° and will be finished at 19°°. From 11°° the ESPL measurement first round will start in front of the main stage.
On Monday the best 6 of the big categories are to be rejudged in Sound. They will be announced at 10:30 at the EMMA office. The judging will start at 11°°. If the noise level is too high the cars may be driven to the outside area. Also at 11°° the first round ESPL will be continued as well as the EMMA Racing participants will do their ESPL measurements in front of the stage.
On Tuesday at 11°° the best two of the first ESPL round will compete against each other in front of the stage. The Ceremony will start at 15:30. Please note that the cars are allowed to leave the hall at 17:30.
Please make sure that your car will be presented to the visitors during the show. A closed car means deduction of points.
Information about the noise level, especially for our ESPL competitors:
Please take care that this is a sound quality competition and visitors want to listen to the sound quality cars. The noisy situation at the last year forced us to make stronger regulations regarding the noise level. Please take care that it has to be quiet within the halls. We may have special times in which you are allowed to play loud music for a few minutes. This will be announced at the backoffice on a list. For those who are not taking care about this rule we will switch of the electricity and a point deduction on their scoresheet will be noticed.
EMMA will install an FM Sender inside the Hall so that all Audio Systems can play the same music. We would like to make a real big Party on Tuesday when all cars play the same time. Further Information will be available at the Back Office.
The Party:
On Monday evening after 19:00 EMMA organizes a big international Party at the “In da Bahn” Discotheque. The location of the Disco is direct inside the Nuremberg Central Station which can be reached easily by Metro and Taxi. All competitors will receive a Ticket together with their registration. Additional Tickets can be bought at the EMMA Office for a price of 29 Euro. The ticket includes a buffet. There is a direct Underground connection from the Expo to “IndaBahn” The Location plan will be handed out to you at the registration. Find all about the Disco at http://www.indabahn.com/
Important information from the expo:
Smoking inside of the hall is strictly forbidden. If you need to take your car out of the Hall you are allowed to leave in the evening between 18°° and 19°° and enter in the morning between 8°° and 8:30. If possible bring a fire distinguisher with you.
Country Presentation:
After the great excitement at the premiere of this special competition during the last EMMA Eurofinals in Rotterdam we would like to continue with the idea to give all international EMMA Teams an opportunity to present their country and their culinary specials. Also in 2011 we will have such competition spectacle between the several nations. The winner will receive 500 Euro cash The day of competition is Monday October 31st. At lunchtime a selected group of people from several nations will have judge the presentations. The following points have to be evaluated:
Layout of the presentation 0-10 Points:
Flags, booth/Area, special items to inform the audience (Screens, Books, Posters, samples etc)
The Team 0-10 Points:
Clothing, special ideas (hats, socks etc)
The food and beverage 0-10 Points:
Food and beverage for the audience in terms of quality.
Special Event 0-10 Points:
Dancers, Live Music, Comedians, Clowns etc
Presentation to the judges 0-10 Points:
The Team leader explains 5 minutes about the Nation and the idea behind the presentation to describe the culture of the Country.
All Team which want to participate on this competition need to register at latest one week before the event and nominate a Team Leader for the communication to the Organizing body of EMMA. We would be happy if many Nation will attend this fun – competition.
